Yolanda Gellis, President and Lead Examiner of Truth Be Told Polygraph LLC, is a retired law enforcement officer with over 19 years of law enforcement experience having served the public with four law enforcement agencies in Los Angeles County, Riverside County and Orange County. Yolanda provides polygraph testing for law enforcement and the private sector. She is a part-time instructor for Riverside Community College to Background Investigators for the use of Detection of Deception Examinations, including Polygraph use during Background Investigations.

Our certified examiners have extensive backgrounds in forensic science, government and current law enforcement backgrounds.

Our forensic science associate holds a Bachelors of Arts and Masters Degree in Criminalistics. This examiner is a forensic science professional and is a lifetime member of the California Division of International Association of Identification. This examiner has over 26 years of law enforcement experience as a crime scene investigator. Our forensic science associate instructed forensic classes for the Department of Justice from 1984-2000. This examiners extensive background includes experience as an Adjunct Professor for National University in Los Angeles from 1995-2000. Our forensic science associate graduated from the Backster School of Lie Detection.

Our current law enforcement certified polygraph examiner is a retired Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy and current Senior Polygraph Examiner with a major county. This examiner graduated at the top of their class from the Backster School of Lie Detection. This examiner has over sixteen years of law enforcement experience including pre-employment and criminal polygraphs. Other polygraph experience includes relationship and family issues, criminal matters (where an attorney has been retained), pre-employment screenings, felony criminal matters, sexual therapy, and internal investigations. This examiner has administered polygraph examinations to the clients of numerous sexual addiction therapists in the Los Angeles area.

Our examiner is a former government polygraph examiner and Special Agent with the United States Department of Justice. This examiner has over 29 years of law enforcement experience, including polygraph testing. Prior experience includes general criminal investigations, full time polygraph examiner, polygraph coordinator for the United States Department of Justice and United States Department of Homeland Security. This examiner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Masters Degree in Management. The examiner graduated from the Department of Defense Polygraph Academy and is an APA instructor having conducted classes in South America for federal, military and civilian students.
